Why should I request an Environmental Review?
By asking for an environmental review, you can stop a project from moving forward until its environmental impacts are understood. Asking for an environmental review frequently results in project improvements to avoid the cost of a bigger Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) or to avoid litigation. It is a great way to make sure your voice is heard.
